Seggau, Austria, July 2 – July 15, 2017: Graz International Summer School Seggau “Radical Definitions: State-Society-Religion” David Herzog Fonds Scholarships

The Graz International Summer School Seggau is designed for internationally oriented, highly motivated students from all disciplines, who wish to deepen their understanding of current European and International affairs by studying and discussing global developments and challenges in terms of radical definitions reflecting aspects of individual, social, political, religious, cultural, literary, regional, economic, cohort and national identities.

In 2017 the summer school will accept 80 students to participate in five interdisciplinary seminar modules and the David-Herzog-Fonds has generously agreed to fund five of these students to participate in the Narratives of State, Society, and Religion module (SM4). The full scholarships cover the total participation cost of 1500 Euros and are awarded upon academic merit.

How to apply?

Procedure - please note! 

 The David-Herzog-Fonds will nominate you for the scholarship. The scholarship will be transferred to you in two installments – you will receive the first part of € 800,- immediately and the second part of € 700,- after participation AND successful completion of your seminar paper. Please understand that you will have to pay the full tuition fee by the payment deadline, even though you won’t receive the whole amount of the scholarship immediately! 

The application deadline for both applications is March 28, 2017.
