Kurt-David-Brühl Visiting Professorship for Jewish Studies
The Kurt-David-Brühl Visiting Professorship for Jewish Studies, which has been held every two semesters since the 2001/02 academic year, aims to impart to students the basics of Jewish culture and history together with special topics in seminars. The courses of the Kurt-David-Brühl Visiting Professorship for Jewish Studies are part of the Joint Master's Degree Program Jewish Studies – History of Cultures of the Jews and are further integrated into other cultural and humanities studies at the University of Graz. The visiting professorship is intended to expand the range of courses offered in the field of Jewish studies at the University of Graz. It comprises 6 semester course hours, 2 hours of which are to be conducted in the form of a lecture. The Kurt-David-Brühl Visiting Professorship for Jewish Studies is based on cultural studies and is therefore open to applicants from various academic disciplines.
