Petra Ernst Fellowship for Jewish Studies

The founder of the fellowship is the cultural and literary scholar, co-founder and long-time employee of the CJS Petra Ernst, who passed away in 2016.

The Petra Ernst Fellowship is aimed at researchers of different academic ages who are working on a topic from the fields of European Jewish literature, culture or history since the Enlightenment.

Recipients are given the opportunity to conduct their research within the framework of the Center for Jewish Studies and to participate in the academic life of the CJS.
